Community guidelines
Make the need clearer. Make the answer more useful.
The board works when people can speak plainly, disagree safely, and understand what is real.
Effective and last updated: July 24, 2026
Write from a real need
- Describe the task, friction, or result you want.
- Give enough context for another person to understand the problem.
- Use the optional budget honestly. It is a signal, not a promise.
- Post a separate need when the audience or outcome is materially different.
Respond with something concrete
- Use “I need this too” only when the need is genuinely yours as well.
- When sharing a solution, name the product and explain why it fits.
- When offering to build, propose a useful next step rather than a vague sales pitch.
- Disclose a meaningful affiliation with a product you recommend.
Keep private information private
Every need and response is public. Do not post passwords, API keys, payment details, government identifiers, private addresses, health records, confidential business data, or personal information about another person. Use examples or redacted data instead.
Content that does not belong here
Do not post or link to content that:
- facilitates illegal activity, fraud, scams, impersonation, or evasion of lawful safeguards;
- contains malware, phishing, credential theft, spam, or deceptive promotion;
- harasses, threatens, exploits, dehumanizes, or exposes another person;
- sexually exploits anyone or involves sexual content concerning minors;
- encourages self-harm, violence, or serious physical harm;
- infringes intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights; or
- creates a substantial risk in medical, legal, financial, safety-critical, or other high-stakes use.
Moderation is for the board, not a verdict on the person
We may remove or limit content that breaks these rules, creates a credible risk, repeats low-value material, or makes the board harder to use. Context matters, and we may make mistakes. To report content or ask for a review, email tewi9140@gmail.com with the page URL and a short explanation.
